Welcome to I Really Want To Know. You may be saying "Oh great, another computer help site". Well that is partly true. This site is intended to give better information on computers, than other sites, because we hope to provide it in a clear, concise format. While other sites try to explain things to you, especially in instructions in paragraph format, we plan on providing the information to you in step-by-step format.

My Background
32+ years in Information Technologies both Military (20 years), and civilian (12+ years). Experience includes Computer Operation, Programming, Technical Support, System Administration and Database Administration. I also trained people extensively in the Military and civilian life. Currently I'm teaching computer classes in the community where my wife and I have retired.
Work In Progress
This site is a "permanent work-in-progress". This means that things will be added when needed, even from requests from the users. If you would like something discussed, please use the discussion board to make your request. To prevent spammers, I do not accept e-mails.
All requests will be considered, but may not be added. Requests for Windows Based computers only. Do not ask questions for Windows 3.x, Windows 95, Windows ME.
Required Program
You must have at least Adobe Reader 5 on your system to look at most files on this site. You can download it free from http://www.adobe.com.
If any files are provided in compressed format ("ZIP"), you will need a way to extract the files. May I suggest WINZIP. Download it from http://www.winzip.com., however any ZIP compatible program is acceptable.
